The solution to your cleaning needs… Naturally! Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap

Castile soap has been a miracle worker for me the past 2 years . I found it at whole foods and wasn’t sure how it was going to react to my sensitive skin. I got the bar in rose the first time and it ended up being really helpful and smelled absolutely wonderful. They actually come in a variety of scents and sizes depending on what you like or need. Now the interesting thing about this soap is the multiple uses it has! It can be used as the following:

  1. Body Wash
  2. Face Wash
  3. Shampoo
  4. Washing sensitive skin
  5. shaving cream
  6. clearing congestion
  7. deodorant
  8. aftershave
  9. washing dishes
  10. laundry
  11. mopping
  12. cleaning windows
  13. multipurpose spray
  14. fruit/vegetable cleaner or rinse
  15. glass cleaner
  16. non-toxic toilet cleaner
  17. foaming hand soap
  18. washing dogs
  19. ant/bug spray
  20. cleaning cars

There are online tutorials and recipes that you can find that will help you mix the right amount in order to achieve the right clean!

Coconut Shampoo

1/4 cup coconut milk

1/3 cup Dr. Bronner’s of choice

1 tsp vitamin E, coconut oil or olive oil

10-20 drops of essential oil (lavender is my favorite!)

Combine all ingredients in a shampoo bottle or jar and shake well to mix. You can keep it in the shower for up to one month. Shake before each use in order to distribute everything evenly while washing.
This is just an example of something you can do with castile soap. It’s homemade and natural and most importantly SAFE! Try it out and let me know what you think  or other soap alternatives !!
